Stone Turkey's First Writing Contest ended May 2026, with 70 submissions sent in! We want to thank all the thank and congratulate all the brave authors who submitted their works for review. It is not easy to send in a work and have looked over, so we applaud your achievement. We are currently in the works of reviewing the works to announce the winner for the contest. Check back with us on 6/17/2026 where we will announce the winners for the poetry and short story categories!

Contest Results and Journal
A goal of Stone Turkey Publishing from the start was to find brand new artist and help them navigate the complicated world of publishing. Working with a publisher can be intimidating and self publishing can sometimes set an author rather then propelling them forward.
The Writing Contest was a way to find writers ready to share their works. Our plan is to create an e-literary journal composted of the top ten best poetry and short story pieces to share in a professionally made e-book. The book is in still development but it estimated to be released late June!
